Construction technology firms hire foreign workers to build Trump-owned buildings

Construction technology companies in the United States are hiring foreign workers in what is being seen as a move to increase the labor supply in the industry.

In a memo to employees obtained by Breitbart News, a number of companies including Deloitte and Ernst & Young said they are working to hire a higher number of foreign nationals as well as foreign workers on a temporary basis.

“We are also adding additional skilled workers to our workforce in order to meet the growing demand for our products in 2018,” the companies wrote.

“We have not determined yet if this will result in additional labor-intensive or additional cost-effective construction projects.”

The memo comes just weeks after President Donald Trump signed an executive order that allows contractors to hire foreign nationals to work for his businesses in the future.

The White House has also said that the government will not allow contractors to use undocumented workers.
